When you feel good about yourself, IT SHOWS. And the biggest factors in feeling good are diet & exercise. Very few of us are as active as we used to be -- BUSY, yes. But not active. If we want to improve our health, and how we feel, Diet alone is not gonna do it! Part of our inspiration for the Senior Fitness pages came from Ms. Morjorie Newlin who unfortunately, passed away this past spring. 
Sixteen years ago, at the age of 71, Morjorie bought a 50lb bag of kitty litter because it was on sale. Then, realizing that she couldn't carry it home, she decided to do something about it. She joined a gym and the rest is history. Other ladies who've inspired us, include Dollie Francis and Ruby Carter Pikes . Now, we're not saying that everybody should take up bodybuilding, but Fitness requires exercise -- not a whole lot either -- and most of us could stand to improve our overall physical health.
